Ring of San Romolo. Trail 743 A route that from the town of Lastra a Signa allows you to reach the highest point on the Colle di San Romolo with the church of the same name. The expansive views more than repay the effort required. The route takes place on little frequented paths and asphalted roads. Part of the route coincides with path no. 730 and the Renaissance ring and n. 745 Guerrina ring.
From the Quattro Strade the San Romolo hill can also be reached via this simple but interesting itinerary which retraces ancient local roads that have now been forgotten. Among ancient villas, woods and clearings, walking on little-used paths and roads, you reach Villa della Guerrina immersed in the woods.
