History
Once upon a time… And there still is… a small village of houses on the hills of Lastra a Signa. Many generations have passed there but time and the advent of post-war industrialization in the city had now forgotten the small village of San Lorenzo... then in 1982, after years of abandonment and decay, Alba and Domenico, tired of the city, decided to buy the old farmhouse and made it flourish again as well as all the nature around it. A few years later, other men and women purchased the remaining part of the village and continued the reconstruction.

The FATTORIA ALBANESE LABARDI agricultural company was founded in 1982 when Alba and Domenico, tired of the chaos of the city, decided to leave their jobs in the city and go to live in the countryside.

The house and the farm had been abandoned for years but Alba and Domenico with love and a bit of madness were able to build the agricultural company from scratch first and then the agritourism one. For Alba and Domenico it was love at first sight since from the square of the house it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of the magnificent Florence.

In 2005 the management of the agricultural and agritourism company passed from Alba and Domenico to Lorenza, their daughter who graduated in agriculture with a specialization in agro-engineering to whom her parents passed on all the love and respect for nature and its traditions.

General
The company is immersed in the Tuscan countryside and from it it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of Florence and the surrounding Chianti hills. The company specializing in organic farming cultivates 7 hectares of land with olive groves, vineyards, vegetables and fruit and is located 4 km from Lastra a Signa and 15 from Florence. On the farm there is also a breeding of Tibetan goats and poultry.

Our farmhouse is the ideal place for ecotourism and your ecological holidays. Our farmhouse is located in a strategic point from which you can depart to visit the most beautiful cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra and the enchanting places of Chianti. In the evening in our farmhouse you can discover and taste the typical flavors of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine in the internal restaurant.

In the company it is possible to host ceremonies and parties for up to 40 people inside and 150 outside.

Furthermore, it is possible to taste and purchase our products such as Tuscan IGT Red Wine and IGP extra virgin olive oil and seasonal fruit in our shop inside the company.

The Farmhouse
Our family-run farmhouse was founded in 1992 in a farmhouse that has a typical structure of the sharecropping period. In 2011 it had a complete renovation and today it has various types of double rooms, all different from each other but furnished in the classic Tuscan style: terracotta floors, exposed beams and furnishings derived from our ancestors.
All televisions are voluntarily absent in the Structure.
